
Dr.JoAnna Falco-Leshin is an accomplished artist and educator whose creative work spans a variety of mediums and themes. Her art reflects a lifelong passion for storytelling, symbolism, and the exploration of myth and meaning through visual form.
Dr. JoAnna Falco-Leshin was a professor of rhetoric, literature, humanities and STEM related curricula for over 35 years. A recipient of an endowed chair and the NISOD award for teaching excellence, she considers her former students and her late husband Bob as "the wind beneath her wings." Motivated by her " piccoli amori, her students, " she is creating art that reimagines myth, legend, and the spirituality of Western culture to rekindle a love of what is inspiring in them, especially for women.
She has no formal studio training, but has spent countless hours studying the works of Leonardo da Vinci.
